Description

We are a leading construction company with projects and offices all over the Middle-East and North Africa. Due to our expansion locally and regionally, we invite highly qualified leaders to join our Qatar & Kuwait branches. The SAFETY MANAGER will be responsible for Managing and direction of all the ES&H functions over all the company’s entities. Works to provide ES&H services that protect the best interests of the company and the general public. Maintains relationships with customers, construction and other department’s managers to coordinate the administration of the ES&H functions. Advise of changing trends. Maintains contact with regulatory authorities to keep abreast of proposed changes to current regulations. Maintain contact with governmental representatives and client ES&H managers to keep abreast of ES&H policies. Responsible for providing technical support, training and program development, and guidance in the fields of environmental compliance, safety, health, medical services, and fire prevention applications. The ideal candidate should be a graduate from an accredited college or university with a degree in safety engineering or related sciences, with a minimum of ten years experience. Proficiency in interpreting and evaluating regulatory ES&H standards. Experience in developing training programs. Experience in matters of business administration. in conducting audits.
